Choosing a level of care
You do not need to decide between PHP and IOP on your own. A clinical assessment helps determine the appropriate level of care based on your needs. Both programs provide treatment while you live outside the facility.
The Full Day Program (PHP) provides a structured treatment day. Our intensive outpatient program offers daytime and evening schedules. Care includes group treatment, individual therapy and support for co-occurring mental health concerns, with psychiatric services when clinically appropriate.
Daytime and evening schedules
- Full Day Program (PHP): Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM–2:30 PM, with five classes and catered lunch at noon.
- Daytime IOP: Three hours of programming within the 9:00 AM–2:30 PM group schedule.
- Evening IOP: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 6:00–9:00 PM.
A clinical assessment determines the appropriate level of care. Ask admissions about current availability and your recommended attendance schedule.

Individual therapy and continued care
Individual therapy is part of PHP and IOP at Pax Healing. Standalone individual therapy appointments are no longer offered. Clients graduating from our IOP can transition to OP for continued care based on their treatment plan.
